Books, Bubbles, & Arohanui. What on earth does that mean?
Well, I think it sums up myself and this blog pretty well.
I love books. Absolutely love them. Always have, always will. One of the key focuses of this blog is to talk about books, either ones that I’ve read, or, in the future (I hope), ones that I’ve written.
I also love bubbles, and I think they represent me pretty well. I’m fun, kind of strange, (bubbles are really strange when you think about it), and I frequently drift off into outer space. I pop easily, but really, I’m just here to have a good time. It sometimes seems like I’m filled with hot air, the same way that bubbles are just air with a coating. Bubbles are really fun, and that’s what I’m hoping this blog will be. Fun. Interesting.
Also, bubbles are just plain awesome.
And finally, arohanui. If you aren’t from New Zealand, you will have no clue what that is. Even some Kiwis might not know. In Maori, (the second official language of NZ; the language of the native people), aroha means love and nui means big. Arohanui means lots of love, or much love. And that’s what I want to put into this blog. Love and care. That’s also how I try to live my life, with lots of love.
So, there you have it. I love books, I’m a bubble, and I care about this blog. Something like that.
